Confessions of a Mouskaholic 30 Day Disney Challege

I’ve seen several 30 day Disney challenges floating around facebook and various Disney blogs, so I decided to create my own.  I strategically waited to start my 30 day challenge until tomorrow though, because tomorrow I will be at the 30 day mark in counting down for my own Disney Trip!  I thought that in addition to my countdown that I created, that this would be a fun challenge to undertake!  So here is my list, and we will knock it out one day at a time!

My Disney Countdown

Counting down to Disney is one of my FAVORITE things to do!  Last year I found a cute countdown chain where it looks like Mickey’s head, pants and shoes.  It was cute and relatively easy to make, however; not reusable.

So when I was planning on a Disney Craft Day, I stumbled across this AWESOME disney countdown on the Disney Parks Blog, and decided to customize it for our own trip.

I printed two sets of each number so that I would be able to countdown from the double digits (and reuse it for future trips!!)

After cutting out each of the numbers, I mounted them on coordinating colored construction paper, and added some more flair (and some hidden mickeys!)

This is a fun craft that you could easily do with your kids in preparation for your disney trip!

To display it, I repurposed a piece of cork board that had broken away from it’s frame.  Since it wasn’t framed, I outlined the edges of the board with Disney Princess duct tape.  I mounted it to the wall near our Disney photos with 3M wall mounts.  I put some finishing touches on the board by adding a few photos from past trips, as well as some pins that we’ve collected!  I also added a gallon size freezer bag to the bottom to store unused numbers!

Here is the finished product-
