30 Day Disney Challenge- Day 30 “Favorite Happy Ending”

Confessions of a Mouskaholic's 30 Day Disney Challenge

Confessions of a Mouskaholic’s 30 Day Disney Challenge

First of all, I would like to thank you for joining me on this 30 day journey!  I am excited to have done this Challenge every day, and have really enjoyed reading everyone’s comments on social media!  If you haven’t liked my facebook page, be sure to visit Confessions of a Mouskaholic and like the page!  And the best part about today being the last day of the challenge is that I leave for my personal Disney trip tomorrow morning!  I can hardly wait!

Alright, time for the last “favorite”, and how appropriate that it is about endings!  My favorite happy ending is the end of Wreck it Ralph.  I think it is great because Ralph was willing to sacrifice himself to save someone that he loved, and he realized that even though he’s a “Bad Guy” the good is inside of him.  It is a truly heartwarming story, and I love the creativity and the idea behind it!

30 Day Disney Challenge- Day 29 “Favorite Disney Soundtrack”

Confessions of a Mouskaholic's 30 Day Disney Challenge

It’s hard imagine a Disney movie without the iconic songs from the film popping into your head!  I think that is one of the great things about Disney films is that so many of them have catchy tunes to go along with the movies.  As a kid I used to have a nice collection of Disney soundtracks on cassette tape.  In fact my Lion King sound track got stuck in the tape player in my Dad’s car, and he was stuck listening to it for MONTHS!

Out of all the Disney movies in existence Mary Poppins is by far my favorite soundtrack.  The Sherman Brothers absolutely knocked it out of the park with their songs for this film, and Julie Andrews is just fantastic.  I can’t think of a good adjective to describe it other than it’s the most Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious soundtrack of all time!

Haha and now you all have that song stuck in your head 😉

30 Day Disney Challenge- Day 28 “Favorite Disney Sidekick”

Disney movies always have memorable main characters, but the movies just wouldn’t be the same without the faithful side kicks.  Side kicks come in all shapes and sizes, and both accompany the good guys as well as the bad guys.  I will pick one from each side, both Good and Bad 🙂

Bad Guy Side Kick- Pain and Panic from Hercules.  These two are the comical side kicks to Hades in the movie Hercules.  They’re clumsy, masters of transformation, and just all around funny!

Good Guy Side Kick- Pascal from Tangled. He is a good friend to Rapunzel while she is locked in her tower, and since he doesn’t talk he is fantastic with his facial expressions and his physical comedy!

30 Day Disney Challenge- Day 27 “Favorite Disney Beverage”

Okay first, when I mention the word “Beverage” in quotations, I’m meaning beverages of the alcoholic variety.  My beverage of choice is a margarita, so when I’m thinking favorite drinks there is one in particular that comes to mind- The Pineapple Margarita from La Cava del Tequila at the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot.

A secret wish of mine is to meet Neil Patrick Harris at La Cava del Tequila.  He is a fan of this location, and every time I enter, I wish with all of my heart that he would be there!

So margaritas and the possibility of meeting NPH sounds like a winning combination to me!

30 Day Disney Challenge- Day 26 “Favorite Thing at California Adventure Park”

California Adventure Park is the second park at Disneyland.  This park is absolutely fantastic with lots to see and do!  My favorite part is hands down “Carsland.”  When you turn the corner you feel as if you’ve stepped right into Radiator Springs.

Radiator Springs

This themed area opened during the summer of 2012 and is home to the popular ride “Radiator Springs Racers” and also my all time favorite Quick Service meal that I’ve ever consumed at “Flo’s V-8” cafe.

I think my favorite detail that I noticed when in Radiator Springs was the traffic light… every third blink really was slower 🙂

30 Day Disney Challenge- Day 25 “Favorite Land at Magic Kingdom”

Confessions of a Mouskaholic's 30 Day Disney Challenge

Confessions of a Mouskaholic’s 30 Day Disney Challenge

Magic Kingdom is divided up into 6 “lands” all with their own unique theming (not kidding… the theming goes right down to even the trash cans).   You enter the park by walking down Main Street USA, and then can proceed to go in a loop around the park.  If you go to the right you’ll see Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Liberty Square, Frontierland, and Adventureland.

Tomorrowland is usually where we start our day and is my favorite land at the Magic Kingdom.  I love the rides and the atmosphere in Tomorrowland!  There is a lot to do in Tomorrowland; People Mover, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Astro Orbiter, Monster’s Inc Laugh Floor, Stitch’s Great Escape (my least favorite attraction in all of Disney), Carousel of Progress, Tomorrowland Speedway, AND Space Mountain!

30 Day Disney Challenge- Day 24 “Favorite Pixar Movie”

Confessions of a Mouskaholic's 30 Day Disney Challenge

Pixar gets its own category away favorite “animated” movie because it just deserves a category unto itself.  Its hard to believe that Toy Story is 20 years old this year!  That just blows my mind!  But Pixar has been carefully and deliberately and creatively producing hits for 20 years now, and each are special in their own way.

Finding Nemo is my favorite Pixar movie.  I fell in love with the film the very first time I watched it.  The characters are lovable, the story line is terrific, and it is just a feel good movie.  I loved it so much that I watched it 3 or 4 times in the span of a few days when I first got the movie on DVD.  I am anxiously looking forward to Finding Dory, which is set to come out in June 2016.
