I’ll admit, I was late to the Moana obsession.  I didn’t watch the movie until it was out on DVD, but when I watched it I absolutely adored it!  Not only is the music exceptional, some of it was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, (composer of the Tony Award Winning musical- Hamilton) who I am completely enamored with.  In all honesty, I listened to the soundtrack for about 2 weeks straight because I enjoyed it so much! While there are many catchy tunes from the movie (You’re Welcome and Shiny are the two that stick out in my mind) the song most central to the story of Moana’s journey is “How Far I’ll Go.”  So for today’s Musical Monday I present Nick Pitera’s cover of the song.
