It’s no doubt that the Disney Corporation is a hugely successful and is worth a LOT of money, but the Disney parks didn’t necessarily start off with money as the end goal.  Walt always made it clear that the goal of the parks were to bring people together.  While a Disney vacation can be pricey, it still is and always have the purpose of bringing families and friends together!
