Good Morning and Happy Monday!

I normally will be writing about Disney parks, but I’m so stoked about the upcoming release of a new movie that I couldn’t resist!

Over the weekend the I got to see the trailer for a new Disney Movie that will be hitting theaters in January 2015.  Into the Woods was a musical written by Stephen Sondheim and premiered on Broadway in 1987.  In it’s premier year it took the Tony Award for best book, best score, and Best Actress in a Musical.  I had a revival on Broadway in 2002, and I actually got to see it live!  It was wonderful, which makes me even more excited!

This is a fractured fairy tale featuring beloved characters like Jack, Cinderella, Rapunzel, the Witch, and the Wolf.  The Disney adaptation will feature big names like Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, Anna Kendrick, and Chris Pine.

If you plan to go see this movie keep in mind it’s not going to be like the TV series “Once Upon A Time,” and it is a musical so there will be song and dance numbers!  If you’re not a big fan of musicals you may want to avoid this flick!
